Our first wave of Project Investigators (PIs)

A first wave of Project Investigators (PIs) contracts has been concluded with the Japan Science and Technology (JST)

agency.
We now officially welcome the following PIs to our Moonshot Project :

  • Prof. Kenji Ohmori (Institute for Molecular Science, National Institutes of Natural Science) with the project
“Development and integration of a large-scale cold-atom quantum computing platform”.
  • Assist. Prof. Sylvain de Léséleuc (IMS, NINS) with the project “Novel techniques and tools for high-fidelity operation of a cold-atom based, fault-tolerant, quantum computer”.
  • Assist. Prof. Takafumi Tomita (IMS, NINS) with the project “Development of quantum control techniques with light for high-fidelity gate operation and error correction”.
  • Prof. Yoshiro Takahashi (Kyoto University) with the project “Development of a fault-tolerant quantum computer based on Ytterbium atomic arrays”.
  • Team Leader Takeshi Fukuhara (RIKEN) with the project “Development of atomic qubit based on Strontium atomic
    arrays”.

Their efforts will fuel our four R&D themes .
